The Lorado Taft Field Campus is home to the statue of Blackhawk, created by the artist, Lorado Taft. Fifth grade students from Wood Dale have had Outdoor Education at this location for many years.

Members of the Wood Dale School District 7 Board of Education toured each of the District 7 schools after their regular monthly meeting. While visiting Westview they were able to see the results of summer improvement projects including new flooring and the installation of mimio interactive systems in 4th grade classrooms.
Students in Mrs. Weichenhain's 4th grade class read their independent library books during a class bathroom break. Increasing overall time reading each day is a school wide effort this year at Westview!
Mr. Hartman's 5th grade class dissects owl pellets in class. By examining bones and identifying them, they learn about prey and predator relationships!
